Stage 2

  • The qualified stylus was used to determine the coordinate system of the measured product. The standard method was used to create the coordinate system (Fig. 1), which was determined by using three surfaces represented by three planes (associated elements).

  • The associated elements were fitted to points uniformly distributed on measured surfaces and investigated in the single-point probing mode (Fig. 2).

  • The figure 3 shows the real process of determining the coordinate system of the measured part. The coordinate system was measured by using the VAST XXT probe.
