Rules for creating and delivering a presentation:

  • the presentation should help the recipient understand the idea/problem presented in visible content (appropriate font size, not too much text, images in the right resolution)
  • time control
  • proper preparation (do not read from a piece of paper, do not read what is written on the slide, the exception are definitions)
  • maintain moderation (themes/colors, slide transitions, effects, etc.)
  • in the case of long presentations, focus the audience's attention by referring to the presentation plan
  • save the presentation in .pdf format
  • make sure that all multimedia (recordings, movies) and links work properly
  • consider practicing the presentation in front of a mirror
